Someday Is NOW: Achieve Self Mastery

Do you take advantage of the moment?  You have the power to choose to utilize the importance of the moment to your advantage. It is all about side stepping the excuses and using the time, right now, today, to - step by step, moment by moment - reach your goals and achieve self mastery.

Over the past couple of years I have had plenty of conversations with myself, many of which have not been very empowering. I have however been tremendously blessed to have my YourDay family to remind me that I am the one that holds the power. I was at a point that I was allowing my circumstances to have influence over me, but my team reminded me that my circumstances do not define who I am.

self masteryLike anyone, I have a story. The goal though is not to get caught up in my story. Sometimes disempowering things happen that are beyond my control or influence but, daily, I understand that my reaction to what happens to me is what determines my success in the understanding of the lesson. I inflluence how to view my circumstances and myself.

Another of my daily lessons is taking sole responsibility for my circumstances and my feelings. Blaming those outside of me gives all of my power away. I chose to remain in a place of power in my life as I exercise my habits to choose simple actions that will service and empower me.

I have learned that someday will never come. Someday is always in the future. Using the moment means acting now, not someday. Planning to do things “someday” is like cheating yourself out of precious time; time which could be used to further get you on the road to personal development.

Today is the day to act and make empowering choices. I hope you realize just how tremendously powerful you are and that you already have the time and ability to begin changing habits in order to achieve self mastery. Success doesn’t happen all at once; it’s built on taking advantage of individual moments and making small, healthy decisions over time. And that time starts right now.

Make today Your Day!
